News at Pet Fashions Runway

The Holidays page is now up and ready for everyone. A couple days ago we sent out our newsletter on the holiday products.

We pulled Fancie Face Fashions after she notified us that she has decided to close down their business. It has been a tough year for a lot of retailers and designers. We can only hope that it gets better.

The holidays page will be posted this week. Continue to check back on this page…we will add products as our designers upload their holiday products.

After a lot of discussion, polls and brainstorming…we have finally settled on the new look for PFR. We had to have several logos done and then finally Beverly came up with the ultimate logo for us. We will be changing or adding our logo and color scheme to the rest of our site.

We have a new category script and look arriving soon. The old script was getting slammed with spam and we wanted something that allowed retailers and designers to advertise on our site.

We have added our Halloween Page…keep checking back for more items as the Designers release them.

Lorrie - PFR

We will be adding a new section for Package Deals from the designers at PFR. Several designers have great package deals that will be listed by company. We are trying to put together combination packages from designers that will help add a fresh look to your inventory.

Coming soon to PFR will be Boutique of Paws and Puppy Angel. We are working on gathering all their product information and you will see them soon on PFR shopping area.

Laura from Pet Scribbles posted this link on our old board. Easy Thumbnails as a great image resizer. It is free and it can take a huge photo 7MB and compress it down to a small size 300 x 300 without distorting the image. I have used it for years and it works like a champ. With my main graphic program, some of the big photos can get distorted the smaller you go…Easy thumbnails does not distort.

Of course I find it amazing that it is free! Great little program to have on hand.

We decided to use a blog for our latest news at PFR. The message board was being read a lot, but no communication…so we decided a blog would be best, that way if you feel you want to comment, you can.

We were not able to save the data from our last board, but will try to add some of the references that were made to the blog.
